how big of rims will fit with spacers
i was looking at foose rims, and i know theyll bolt up with the steel spacers. would 20x10.5, 20x9, 20x8.5, or 19x8.5 fit in the rear? would 20x8.5 or 19x8.5 fit in the front? all else fails i can go 18x8.5 all four corners, just wondering if its possible to go bigger.

I once tried on som big wheels, and they where 19x9 and 19x11,5 and sporting 285/30 19 tires.
Thoe front ones didn't have any fitment problems, especially since the front tire only measured 24,5 centimeters across (WTF? )
The rears where really streching it, the tires where not wide enough for the wheel, and much of the chrome wheel lip could be seen from behind the car. On the other hand, it would not be enough clearance to mount any wider tire on those rims, as the wheel lip nearly toched the fender. Also, the bump stops, rubber thing to stop the axle from max travel, had to be remowed to safely drive with those wheels. Also some grinding away of metal in this area would be necessary. THe wheels where so big being 119 inchers, it went ouside these rubber stops. But going fast over a hilltop and nealy lifting from the ground, the wheel would be destroyed by this thing very quicly.
I say, do not go any larger than 9,5 in the back, perhaps 10, but thats pushing it if you don't want to modyfy things to fit. 20's? I don't know, I would go for 18's myself, 19's did have a too less rubber i my opinion, someone said they looked like motorcycle wheels, and they did.
