Please post some pics of it. Uninstalled pics would be nice also.
I'm considering buying one of the street versions with spring perches and motor mounts along with a set of a-arms, so any pics you have would be helpful.

check 4thgen setups...very similar and you'll get alot more feedback. rather pricey but seem to be nice, everyone i know has gone with pa/pro-fab to save money and been happy.
good luck.

I'm leary of PA and Pro Fab because both guys claim the other one's product is inferior. I've also heard some people have bolt holes that didn't line up. Seen some bad feedbacks on ebay also.
I'm not saying that I've ruled them out, but I'm looking at my other options.
I'd really like to have one of the Road Tech setups but I'm sure the only guy that bought one isn't gonna sell his.
I doubt spohn will get his done in time for it to be of any use to me.

just go with which ever you like, this topic has been beat to death more then the question of 4thgen seats fitting in a 3rdgen. it's like a lightbulb, everyone knows they work but someone always wants something different so they're willing to pay more money.
keep searching, you'll find what you want someday.

Cartman...thanks for your help.
Kandied...Apparently the AJE one hasn't been beat to death because I couldn't find any frigging pics of it except one which isn't that good. 70GTO was kind enough to email me the uninstalled pics of the AJE unit. Aside from a few users on this board that have actually seen/used the AJE unit, most probably assume that it's the same as the Pro PA unit but costs more.
Dude.....I didn't even bring up the their unit anyway....come to think of it....you did.
You plug them alot...did they give you one? Tell them if they give me one I'll plug for them too!
draino.....still searchin'

nice dude.....
the topic of tubular k-members are what's beaten to death. if you search on the internet you'll find plenty of info. thirdgen.org isn't the only site for such materials. as far as pa racing, i don't "plug" them, i just defend the b.s that so many push who haven't even used them. i was pointing out that the reason you won't see many posts about such. every product has it's up and downs..i've seen incidents with just about all of them. wasn't the point, relax a bit.

sorry, you're wording made it sound like a plug for them. I generally don't go to other thirdgen boards, so I can only go by the info I've seen here.

That picture of the AJE crossmember looks totally different than the one in this picture. Besides the obvious rack mounts the crossover is kicked way out. Wonder which is the newer design??

I wouldn't bother with one unless you're doing a serious buildup.
There are so many other things to do that will give you gains that this should be one of the last things on the list.

OK, I finally got around to resizing the pictures, so I'll give it a shot at posting them.
BTW, This set-up has mounting locations for the stock motor mounts & is made for using a a Ford Rack & pinion unit. I think I'm gonna go with a power unit from a mid 90's Mustang.
Also. the A Arms are without spring perches, as I"m gonna go with a coil-over strut set-up.
I paid a flat $1100 and I picked the unit up from Anthony's shop " a little over a 2 hour drive for me"
What I got for the $1100
1- K Member "Mild Steel "
2- A Arms "Mild steel"
3- Coilover Set-up
4- Bumpsteer kit
5- Steering linkage kit " Hardware to mount the Column to the R & P Unit "

joshwilson3 Are these aftermarket K members for racing purposes, or are they better than stock? Shortly I will be replacing some stuff in this area, so should I look at getting an aftermarket K member, or is what is on there fine for city driving?
thanks
Josh,
IMHO, these aftermarket K Members are not going to be any stronger than the factory member and for Road type racing I personally would probably stick with the factory piece. You do loose some front end weight by going aftermarket, but the main reason I'm installing one is for clearance issues such as the starter and these 2" Hedman's
Hope this helps ya out. Bruce

Hey TPI383,
If ya have a minute would you tell me just exactly what you are running in the line of a coil-over / strut set-up ???
Currently all I have is the spring set-up, But have not decided on which strut or anything else.
Any help would be greatly appreciated :hail:
Thanks, Bruce
