I need new rear brake setup!
Okay, I just replaced my rearend with one from a 97. Didn't realize that it didn't come w/ brakes (I bought it from a JY). So, it's got the end cap pieces to bolt calipers too. What kind of brakes should I go with? Stock Are there upgraded ones I can get for the rear? Fronts are stock for now. I want to try and do the c5 front conversion though. Taking an extra set of rotors to a machinist tommorrow to have them spin them down to just a hub.
Anyways, I need rear brakes. Everything from rotors to calipers. Do the Earl's SS lines I just bought for a 91 disc rearend work with the wider rear of the 4thgen?

I'd rather not bug someone specific if they don't already have something to say. Thanks for the suggestion.

Bug me all you want, glad to help.
Since you already have the backing plates on the rear, just go with the stock system that came on it. They perform about as well as anything you can install back there. For example, even if you went with a Baer Sport brake upgrade for it, those are exactly like the stock '97 LT1 brakes anyway so why ont install stock. You can always upgrade to performane rotors and pads but the calipers will stay the same. There's no bigger system on the market right now than a 12" system, and that's what the stock size is.
Yes those Earl's lines will work fine. The guy did leave you the axle hard lines, right?
