drivers tire rub

my drivers side tire rubs bad . the other side is fine. i also noticed that the drivers side tire sits in farther in the wheelwell, then the pass side. i have 255/50/16's i did the research before buying them and it is the same diam as the 235/55/16's. well it was rubbing with those to. i seemed to get worse after the poly bushing install. i quess my question is, is the any chance that the a-arm is bent. looks like the car was in a accident in some point in its life. the car aligns great so i cant see the frame being a problem. altho i did see a few dimples in the trnny tunnel area. what would you guys suggest me to do first. change the control arm? or what. I was thinking that would be the first , also thought about having it put on a frame stretcher to see if it is tweeked. well I was just wondering if anyone else has see this problem and was hoping a control arm would fix it. and does anyone have any clue on the cost to get the fram cked? thanks sean
