I cant find one anywhere GM says they are discontinued and I need them for my rear disc conversion. Any help would be great thanks

Called carquest in Texas they have no listing. Do you have a brand name or a part number?

 

I just ordered a pair from GMPD as they still showed them available so we'll see what happens.

I did the same thing a month ago within about 48 hours you will get a email returned to you saying the part has been discontinued.

I believe Ed confirmed on an old post that the 10164125 is the 1434 mm cable (1st design according to CarQuest). I ordered the latter from CarQuest under part # BRK 8788. I haven't yet installed, however.

I just put new E cables on both sides. I got after market ones. They were in stock. They do have two different numbers for the cables. I have an 82 Z. the number I think you used is for the drivers side. Mine were $19 each. Auto Zone had them but it would take two to three days for them to come in. I went to a local shop and got them the next day. Hope this helps.

i believe napa carries ebrake cables as well. i'm checking right now for part numbers.

your local napa should be able to have these within 3-5 days (possibly overnight) if they don't have them in stock.

to my knowledge, these UBP cables should carry a lifetime warranty on them as well.

 

Found some at O'Reiley auto parts in TX they are under the Brake Best line and have a part #BC94264 they were special order and sell for 15.99 I should have them next week hopefully they will work
