FE1 and FE2 (stupid question)
On the FE1 (soft ride) and FE2 (stiffer) suspension systems...do those codes only represent the sway bar measurements? or does teh FE1 consist of differnt springs than the FE2 package?
In other words... does "FE1" and "FE2" stand for the entire suspension package(sway bars, springs etc) or is that only the code for the sway bars?
The reason i ask is...
My buddy has spare springs from his 91 B4C (with a 5.7 TPI) and i would like to put those onto my 89 RS (with a 2.8 V6). Would the swap be worth the agrivation or are they basically the same thing?

Yes, springs are also part of the FE1/2 codes. I'd be concerned with your car being a V6 and putting V8 springs in it, this will throw the handling characteristics of the springs off.

i just figured that the only difference would be that the FE2 springs would be stiffer. meaning better handling
