17x11 smoothies on the rear .

ok i just saw lbsblown's post about his 17x11's . I want to get 17x11's i know i have to hammer the wheel well and then roll the lip but i dont mind. What offset do i need to order from boyd. Lbsblown has adaptors and **** and i dont wanna do that , so i need to know what bs i need. I know for 9.5 i need 5.5 , but what about 11's. Thanks any info is much appreciated. I really want some meats under the car if i order rims, i want to get the rims i want for later when i get some real hp.

i really think 11 inch wide rims are overkill, especially since you got a fairly stock 305. but if you do start hitting some nice HP's, you'll blow your rear out trying to hook those monsters...some 9.5's or 10's would be a lot better and you wont have to mod as much. either way, id get the HP first, and then worry about hooking them up

How did you get that chrysler rear end to work in there?

I'm interested.

you need to do more research.....

11, 10, 9....why not go 13" and minitub the b#$ch! put some real meat under there then. your going to put 11" wide tire on there which is going to cause you more harm then good. i wish you luck.

mini tub that would be cool , i would love to do that but its too late i allready made the rear end the stock width . A few guys have 11s and they are fine. I like how the rims look like that . I talked with asulke on the net and he said he races with them and has no problem .
