I am looking at the centerline auto drag (classic look) 15 X 3 1/2 skinnies up front
Jegs catalog did not list backspacing for these wheels but the price looks hard to beat at just over $100 per wheel
The comparable Weld draglite 15 x 3 1/2 has 1 1/2 backspacing
Will this fit my 85 berlinetta ????
- it came stock with 14 X 6 wheels
Also what tyre size skinnies are you using successfully on your 3rd gen car iwth 15 X 3 1/2 drag wheels ???
Its my small block (see sig) and stock springs up front
Please note I will still have power assist until I can swap box for S10 part later
Will it make much difference if I use the 15 X 4 size up instead

I had 15x4 Centerline Convo Pro's with 2 5/16" back spacing on the front of my car with the stock front brakes. This amount of backspace with this width wheel looks about right (not too far in or hanging too far out). The trouble began when I went to Wilwood front brakes. The wheel mounting surface of their aluminum hubs stick about 1/2-3/4" further outward, thus moving the wheel/tire combo outward the same amount. Since this was a little too far outward for my taste, I ended up buying another pair of the same wheels, but with the 1 3/4" BS instead, to reposition the wheels/tires back to approximately where they were before I installed the Wilwood brakes. As far as front tires, I'm using Hoosier 26x4.5-15 "drag fronts".
