Rust Bullet vs. POR 15......

Well I got a newsletter in my email from Caswellplating.com and in it they have a new product called Rust Bullet which is a one step process. This company seems to love this new product and I have been buying buffing supplies from them for years and they are great people. They usually dont get new products all the time unless it really works and they like it themselves.

On the website they have Rust Bullet go up against POR 15 and every other rust inhibitor/nuetralizer. I know most of you guys like POR 15 and I was almost gonna order mine for my suspension biuldup this spring but I may go with this new product. Check it outRust Bullet

I read about 2 paragraphs because I need to get to bed soon, but from what I read is sounds like a useful product. However, it would need a reputation before I would buy it. The cost appears to be a bit more then POR-15 also.

Well i thought that at first but after looking at por15.com If you just get the actual rust preventative black paint in one quart it is $31.00. The Rust Bullet is the same price for one quart but with the rust bullet you do not have to by all the cleaners and prep chemicals and the rust bullet is one or two coats and not a 4 step process.

I think it looks like a great product but it may not hold up to its name. I really would like to see someone try this out or know of this product or something like it that is not a multistep process like por 15. Por 15 is a great product and i belive in it fully but Id love to see some different products availible to use when doing a suspension rebuild.
