Tokico Struts

Is anybody running the Tokico HP Blue front struts?

Also, what the differences are in the Tokico lineup of different struts and shocks?

Lastly, I searched the net but can't find the part number for the HP Blue Struts for a 1991 Camaro RS nor the best place to buy.

Thanks
Matt

Hey BlugrassZ,
I haven't been down your way in several years. Deer hunted a few times near London/Barbourville.
Beautiful country. I'm originally from Bowling Green, moved to Louisville in 1992.

Thanks, I may just go with the KYB GR2's for now.
I noticed that Summit, PST, other suppliers, etc. list the KYB's for 1982-1992, one size fits all, so to speak. Hopefully, that is the case.

Do you have KYB GR2 struts on your 1991? If so, do you recall the part #?

I plan to replace the stock struts when I install your C4 brake package and would hate to have everything apart and the struts do not fit.
BTW, I was extremely busy yesterday at work and did not have time to mail MO for caliper paint.
I will do that today. I appreciate your help and advice.

Thanks for the replies guys!

No hurry Matt, take your time.

On both my cars, I run the GR-2s up front and the Gas-A-Just rears. That's what is recommended as a matched pair. I got mine from www.tirerack.com

I've been doing some research on new shocks/struts lately too- they are on the wishlist. In case you haven't found part numbers yet I'll post most of the popular options:

Tokico Blue Strut #HB4001 Shock #HB3613

Tokico Illumina (adj) Strut #BB4001 Shock #BE3613

KYB GR2 Strut #236001 Gas-a-just Shock #KG5562

KYB AGX (adj) Strut #735001 Shock #743019

Koni Red Strut #8741-1030 Shock #30-1265

Oh, and as far as I know (99.99% sure) these fit all f-body's 82-92.
