Baer bumpsteer kit + Firehawks = no worky
here's a pic of the Ronals (17x9.5) with a baer bumpsteer kit installed. I have 1LE brakes so I don't have to run a spacer, but if I install the spacer there is clearance but my wheel sticks past the fenders (too much).
The angle may not show it but even I removed all the spacers and there was still interference (wheel couldn't properly seat). But by removing all the spacers you might as well run a stock moog outter tie rod....but I just wanted to experiment. They fit fine with my IROCs and had plenty of clearance.

Its the rim width and offset. I was wondering the same thing
about the bump steer kit. I run a 16x9-1/2 inch rim and the stock tie rods are so close to the inner rim lip that ocassionaly a rock will get wedged in between the two when I'm driving and put grooves into the inner rim lip. I guess baer missed on that one.

That sucks. I was thinking about the Bear trackers too. Even the 13" baer brakes dont fit these Firehawks.

At least we now know the BAER bumpsteer kit won't work. I was looking into getting that too.

Perhaps a list can be made of which rims fit the bumpsteer kit and which dont.

So what about the Baer front kit with the 12 inch roters and two piston calipers - will that fit ?? - I have these rims and need better brakes sometime soon.
