Brakes creak when released
Recently changed out most of the braking system on a 1992 camaro. (shoes, pads, calipers, wheel cylinders, turned drums, rear brake hardware and master cylinder) At times when I take my foot off the brake they creak and groan. Any thoughs?

The brakes in my truck groan and creak, like a hard sound. Only the rear brakes do this, and only after I am towing, and braking down hill.
What it sounds like to me is glazed over or burnt pads/rotor/drum.
The brakes still work as normal, it's just that they are not as soft, so they groan and creak when inching forward at a light/etc.
I can't hear your brakes so I can't tell you for sure but it sound like to me they got really hot on one or more occasion.
Gently riding the brakes down a hill will cause this on my truck. With an automatic, and a camper and boat behind my truck it is har to go downhill without riding the brakes a little bit.
