Camber to Weight Transfer...somebody explain car suspensions to me?

I'm looking to learn about everything that controls a cars handling/launch. If somebody is willing to type out something, refer me to a good book, or even better a link...I would be very appreciative.

Thanks,
Dave

A golden oldie is "How To Make Your Car Handle" by Fred Puhn. Put out by HP Books.
Mine is dated 1976. It may have been updated since, and there may be newer more updated manuals out there. In any case, Fred's primer covers information on handling, design, suspension tuning, chasiss modifications with lots of pictures, drawings, graphs and math. A great starting place.

This is a good site to visit too. Last time I was there it wasn't fully completed but that was awhile ago, and it still gave me good info anyways.

About 2 years ago, I picked up a book by Herb Adams called Chassis Engineering. It's very informative, and explains everything from frame design to spring rates and physics math, and definitely worth a read. I didn't know who Herb Adams was at the time, but upon further research, he appears to be quite the F-Body expert himself, he was part of the team that created the WS-6 suspension. I think it's a good bet that he knows what he's talking about.
