Bear Brakes & 4th Gen rear end.....
What problems are going to arise if i decide to install a 4th Gen rear end on my car??
I also plan in the future to do the Bear Brake Upgrade, so what potential problems might i get when i try to buy a kit for my car, and i have basically the axle's from two different cars??
Or should i just stay thirdgen rear-end and upgrade it??

not only are they the same size but you can probably get a set of drilled/slotted LS1 rotors and cryo them for less than the specialty manufactured baer brakes rotors. they make good products but they aren't a super high volume manufacturer, and each rotor costs them more to make.

what is bear?
if you have to have the name wait until you have the right rear end before you purchase them and save yourself the headache of figuring all of this out.
the stock disc brakes on our cars are the exact same kit baer sells. they change the bracket to extend the caliper 1/2" and throw in a larger rotor. they were suppose to have the kits out now that adapt the eradispeed rotors, can't hold me too it though as they told me that in february when i ordered my kit. either way their caliper is a standard pbr aluminum caliper that is used stock. they don't even put their name on it.
now you can adapt 4thgen brakes to either type of rearend and their bracket will allow the use of eradispeed rotors if that's what your going for. that's what i'd like to do since my stock 11.5" setup in the rear is rather small behind 18's.
plenty of options one way or another....wait until you ready as everything will change by then.

Looks like i will get the front kit, and see what i can figure out for the rear, probally just get some drilled/slotted rotors for the back and paint the calipers red, so everything works out...
Then i will be in the same boat as you because i'm getting 18" rims as well....

if your handy you can adapt zr1 brackets and fit the eradispeed rotors or the larger vette rotors.
it isn't that it looks bad but the smaller brakes are noticeable behind the larger wheels.
