Porsche brakes

I've heard something before about porsche brakes swapping over to third gens? can some one confirm this?? Would the calipers and rotors off a 2003 porsche 911 be possible to put on my car???(stats below)

Transmission: TH700R4, 4200 stall
Axle/Gears: 9", 4.33:1
I have not heard of such a thing but would enjoy information on it .

Of course, anything is possible with the proper amount of fabrication and $$$ applied to it .

i can get the brakes cheap, but for the fab money do you think i should just say screw it and go for some baers?

I have been looking for a good deal on porsche turbo calipers and rotors to mount to my camaro. I would be very interested if you could get another set of porsche brakes.

Cheap is relative...

Bottom line is, if you can get these Porsche parts for cheap, you can likely sell them off, buy the Baer/1LE kit or something comperable, be perfectly happy with the performance unless you plan on out-braking 911s into the cork-screw, and end up making money on the whole deal.... People will pay healthy amounts of money for Porsche parts if you find the right buyer(s) - which isn't difficult to do .
