Anyone else looking to buy the del a lum front control arm bushings any time soon ? Thunder racing has them for $129 and I figured if we can get some people that are ready to buy right now it may be worth a shot to try em for a group purchase, or anyone else possibly find them for cheaper ?

I'll GP with you all. The Del-a-Lum bushings and Traclink are all I have left to get from Global West. Everything else has already been changed over to GW.

They're replacement lower control arm bushings for the front of our cars, made of machined aluminum, they resist flex much better than rubber or poly, have teflon sleeves and grease fittings, if you think about the load placed on your control arms, the choice is clear.

Im interested in going in with you guys for the most part.. Im having somewhat of a brain fart so you'll have to humor me now. I cant picture how the fitting would go in the lower control arms. Do you drill a small hole in the a-arm and then screw the fitting in?? After a couple days go by and this thread (with info on Del-a-Lum bushings) gets bigger I'll most likely give a yes or no answer as to whether Im in or not. Later..

You slide the outer portion of the bushing through one end of the a-arm to the other side. The distance in-between is not solid. After you slide in the bushing you screw in the nipple. The fitting ends up in the middle. Make sure you put it in properly so you can get to the grease fitting when everything is put back together. Sorry I don't have a picture.

Here is a pic of of Del-A-Lum bushing kit for my 87.

I bought these to use on my car, but first I'm going to reverse engineer them, make a few changes and hopefully improvements, and at some point down the road might produce them for sale.
They are a fairly good design, but anything you get from Global west is way over priced.

FYI-the bushings are not teflon. They are delrin. Hence the name Del (delrin) A-Lum (aluminum)

Can these be used with tubular a-arms, PA's or Roadtech's ?
or should I just get rod ends.
