I need shocks, come spend my money...
I have my right front strut leaking oil, so I'm gonna go ahead and replace atleast the front two struts. I would like to do the rear shocks as well though. Depends how far I can stretch my money. I have tried searching, but I still can't decide what would be best for my needs (between Koni's, KYB, or Bilsteins mainly). The car is my daily driver, so I don't too stiff of a ride. I certainly want it firmer than stock though.
What do you guys recommend I get?
Are adjustable shocks worth the extra money?
Oh, one more thing....I wanted to change my springs after I finished with my new engine, which won't be till late this year. would this be a better time to go ahead an get new springs, or should I leave the stock ones in there for now?

If you can swing it, do the springs while you have it all apart. Why do it twice?
If you can afford them, I'd go with Bilsteins....period. If you're on a budget, go with the KYBs from Tirerack ($177 for all 4 shipped to my door). They give a great ride for the money.

I read a lot about the different brands of shocks here for quite some time before I ordered. Everyone was really happy with the KYB GR-2 and the Gas A-Just. Persuaded me to order a set. I live in Australia and I just had them put on several weeks ago. I think they are great for a daily driver. Very reasonable priced also.

How much are the GR-2 and Gas-a-Just stiffer than stock? I was looking at them in Summit a few days ago, but they seem so cheap compared to some other shocks. Why is that?
KYB has the Gas-a-Just shock, and the GR-2 shock. For struts, they only have one choice...the GR-2, but whats the main difference from the two types of rear shocks?
I was also looking at the Koni's....you can adjust the shock without removing them. The **** is on the shock tower from what I understand. I know they are way more expensive, but is the adjustability worth the extra money?

well your definelty gonna notice the difference from stock...
night and day especially if u replace/upgrade all the bushings maybe some tie rods..and it will be leaps better then new...there cheaper cuz there a good everyday shock, not really aimed at severe duty but they preform quite well when pushed
the difference betwwen the two is the GR-2 get the same technology as the strut...the other is a "regular" shock
if you did a lot of road racing and auto-x then id say ti would be worth it..but us guy here can only do so much your gonna have to decide what to do
