I have a set of the original Spohn powder coated square SFC's that I got a screaming deal on thru Steve's original GP. However, they continue to sit in my garage and will probably remain there until I sell them.

I prefer the design of the Alston's and believe they offer better performance. I'm not crazy with how the "Y" pieces of the Spohn SFC's tie into the car. Especially on the passenger side. The Y piece lays on top of the main tube and I can't see that offering much support.

I'm a big supporter of Spohn's products, but Alston gets my vote for SFC's. Global West would be my #2 choice.
