Anyone have Tokico High Performane shocks? (not Illumina adjustables)
I was wondering, does anyone here have the non adjustable Tokico High Performance shocks? I'm thinking about getting them instead of the KYB's, I'm hoping they'll perform better then the KYB's, while they're still cheaper then going with Koni sport yellows or Bilstien HD's.... Thanks.

I had the blue Tokico's ("non-adjustable high performance") on the wifes car for about 6-7 yrs. They were a very nice shock for everyday driving and performed well under hard conditions. This car has a V6 with 800lbs front and 225lb rear spring rates nd they were powerful enough to dampen those spring rates yet still not shake up the wife and kid. I finally blew a strut after that time and now run Koni yellows on the lower setting to get about the same compresion and rebound. The Koni's do feel the road much better but the car is not suitible to drive comfortably to Vegas for a 3 hour trip.

Car: too many ...
I have Tokiko Blues on the rear of my 90 RS. They ride good and survived 8 months of drifting. Good shocks but I'm gonna go adjustable from here on out. I dont consider them 'racing shocks', but more of a daily driver with a little performance type shocks. I actually wouldnt have bothered if they werent so cheap. I got them both for $50 in box, but I think the list is around $50 each.

I've got them on the back of my 87 T/A with 175 lb springs and height adjusters. I have so little time in the car at the track (open track sessions - road course) but they felt good up to the point I had to put it on the trailer.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. I think I'm gonna go with them, as soon as I get the money I think they'll be better then KYB's.
