Eibach pro kit not low enough

I got this spring kit about a year ago, and put it on but the car's ride height never really changed, i was hoping that maybe it just needed a year or so to settle, i did put on some kyb shocks and struts too at the time. Now dont get me wrong it rides real stiff and feels great through the turns, but it really didnt lower the car at all, it stayed about the same heigth.

So is there any route i could take to get the car a little lower, im very hesitant to chop the springs, because ive heard it can really destroy the ride comfortablity, but since these springs are much thicker than stock would i run into any problems, what would you do ? Is there another option ?

first make sure you indexed the spring correctly. the end of the coil at the bottom must be positioned between the 2 hole on the inner side of the a arm. also make sure the spring is seated in the upper perch correctly.

This is pretty common. I didn't get a 1" drop either. The problem is your 11 year old stock springs were already badly sagging. The advertised drop would be for springs that haven't already sagged. This leaves you with two choices, swap them for Sportlines or start cutting the coils.

Lonsal is correct. I have a 91 Z28 and the same thing happened to me. I was expecting a lower drop but I didnt get it since my old springs were so weak and worn, they let the car sag badly. But now that I have the Pro-Kit springs on the car, the car stayed at the same height, but a LOT stiffer. The type of struts and shocks you go with can make a difference in ride height also. I know that I have the same setup as yourself and my car sits higher when sitting still than when moving. When its moving, the spring rate of the springs and struts change to much, the car squats a little and stiffens, ESPECIALLY in the turns. Here is a pic of how mine sits with the Eibach Pro-Kit and KYBs... :hail:

I have the Eibach pros and had the same problem on my 88 IROC.
The fronts seemed lower but the rear was pretty much stock.
I cut one coil on the rears, left the fronts as is, and the stance is perfect. My ride has not suffered.

Im getting lower springs soon. I was worried about ground clearance because my car used to sit REAL low and I thought that was how it was supposed to be. Well I replaced the original shocks and struts and it raised the car 3 inches. after I got one strut on and sat the car back down the car leaned bad. The original struts wouldnt even come back up on their own.

Jason92z that car is beautiful. Oh man thats the exact car I want a blue 92z28. Is she a l98 or a lb9? Oops didnt see the sig first ok nevermind. Nice car tho. You should stick some 17x8 TT IIs on that oh man.
