On the top strut mounting nut, how much torque should be applied??

On the top strut mounting nut, how much torque should be applied??

I'm not sure how much torque should be applied to the top nut of the strut. Right now I have about 50 ft. lbs. and it sounds as though its moving around inside the mount everytime I brake. It makes a clicking sound when ever I apply the brakes and it's getting annoying.

if i remember right, its somewhere around 15 or 20 ft-lbs. keep in mind that the shock never pulls down on the mount, it only pushes up.
