$600 is not too bad at all! I see that these pieces are all new, reproductions - is that correct? Will these also include the clips and any other hardware/paste/glue needed to compete the install?

It doesn't come with the 3M adhesive, although we do sell it. The weatherstrip are all exact replicas of the factory pieces. If the factory had little push pins in the seal, thes would too. They do not come with screws or anything like that. You would need to reuse the old hardware.

I had this package put together for you guys out here,so it's something we always carry.

You should be fine with one tube of 3M adhesive,a little goes a long way. Here's a link to it on the site.

Hi There
I'm not being rude just confused (Call me blonde )
What is the difference between your offer & this one for $450?
http://www.classicindustries.com/con...rchCatalogId=1

I need new seals & need them for winter in New Zealand.
What would the freight be as well?

Re: 1987 - 1992 Chevy Camaro Convertible Weatherstrip Kit

Sorry to bring up this old thread...
I just want to let everyone know that this stuff shipped out fast (took only 3 days)!! I thought it was going to be from some off brand, but it's all made by "Super Soft". I paid $469usd, I must say... it's waaaay nicer then I thought it was going to be... I'm using it in my build thread here https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/ltx-...-swap-pic.html

Tony, I need the inner and outer window sweeps too, do you have them? (you should add them to the kit).

PS: Your kit is by far the cheapest for a 3rdgen conv

Tony,

I have an 88 Firbeird. Do you have a comparable weatherstrip kit for my Firebird, like the Camaro kit?

Do you have a couple of pictures that you can send me of the old vs the new, so I can see what the issue may be.

Thanks,
Tony

From the pictures it looks like some of the pins on your original piece have broken off.

It still does not match up under the hood ( the pins don't match the holes)

You may have to stretch the seal a little to line up with the holes. It's suppose to fit somewhat snug.

Try this and for some reason it still doesn't work, call our office at 888-844-3393 and one of the sales guys can help you out.

I should fit though, we sell quite a few of these and never really have any issues, but anything's possible I guess.

Let me know how you make out.

Re: 1987 - 1992 Chevy Camaro Convertible Weatherstrip Kit

I signed up with my email to get a notification when this set is available again. Hopefully soon, I want this for when my car gets repainted. There's not much left of the weatherstripping on my car unfortunately...

EDIT: I signed up for notification on the complete 18 piece set, not this one. Anyways, I hope you get them in stock soon!

Really nice kit, i have not put on the new top yet so I havent used that section yet but the sweeps and door stuff fits great. The only part not included was the hood to cowl seal. I will put this on once I take the hood back off to put the new motor in.
