April 6 meeting...

It appears we have a slight conflict. April 6 is our next scheduled meeting but it is also the F-body night at Irwindale. I know some people, including myself, we're planning to go to Irwindale.

According to Chuck Cochrane, he is currently over booked for the event so there's no more room to add people.

My question is, would everyone prefer to hold the meeting at Irwindale? People not on the VIP list will have to pay to get in.

-OR-

The meeting goes on as sheduled at Valencia Chevrolet minus the Irwindale attendees.

Let me know what you guys think.

We had talked in tha past about heading out to Irwindale to watch the racing as a club. This could be the event that finally gets us to make it happen.

What did we do last time when Dwayne had his party the same night as a meeting? We had both... Altho I hope this time nobody shuts down the board.

I'm planning on going to the meeting at Valencia.

I plan on going to Valencia as well, since I don't plan on attending Irwindale. I might have something for show and tell (If I order it and it arrives on time).

If the meeting goes on as scheduled I would like to try and make it to both, however if I would have to make a choice I will probably be heading to Irwindale rather than the meeting.

Looks like a split decision?

I think I might go to Valencia, but it doesnt really matter to me. Might be kinda hard to have much of a meeting at Irwindale, but I could be wrong.

Bret, how much is it gonna cost for people to get into Irwindale?

I don't have any pricing info. and can't find anything on the Irwindale web site. Maybe Brittney will chime in and give us some more info.

I'm going to Irwindale. I'm sure Bret got us a luxury sky box so it shouldn't be a problem. j/k Lon

Irwindale...

For general admission I'm pretty sure its $15-but for pit admission its $35...Qualifying is at 4pm but its kinda dead and boring if you arent in the pits... It all offically starts at 7pm- first they will do the parade lap for F-bodys (which may take 20min) then there will be the races for the lower divisions(untill about 9pm) then the race you will all want to see- our Super Late Models!!! #15!!! and if a bigger $$ class is there-which I think the trucks will be there- they will go last...racing will end at 11pm and at that time when the last car is "safely off the track" and shut down, if you are in the main grandstands they will open the pits to everyone if you want to get an up close look at wreked cars or the top 3 tec teardown to check for cheaters or just come and look around at all the greasy people...
