LB9/TH700 to L98/T5 swap rebuild and swap complete!
Thanks so much to everyone who helped on this board. It's been a journey. This weekend, I declared this project "substantially complete" with some tuning and loose ends to tie up. I wasn't sure where to post so I posted here.
Just a few pics.

Definitely a sweet moment when you can turn the key and hit the road! 👍🏻

Thanks. A big, unexpected surprise was the unique smell of first run. That first burn-off of whatever oils and greases and cleaners and paint and whatnot on all the new and refinished parts. The last time I had smelled those smells I was 15. It's amazing how things like that can put a person's sense of reality back in time so significantly.

The swap I'd do, to my red, '89 LB9/AT IROC Z Vert (except the manual trans), if I did not live in cali!
Are you running subframe connectors? I can't wait to hear how it drives! Good job!
