SoCal TPI Big Bear Cruise & BBQ Oct 12th
On Saturday October 12th, the SoCal TPI group will be having our annual cruise up the mountain to Big Bear Lake.
We'll meet at Dyno Don's shop in Anaheim for those local to the shop. Plan on being at the shop by 8am and leaving shortly after 8.
2831 White Star Ave #A
Anaheim, CA 92806
Then we'll travel to the 210 Freeway and exit at Waterman Ave North to Wildwood Park for staging and last minute instructions.
4999 N Waterman Ave
San Bernardino, CA 92404
We plan on arriving at Wildwood Park around 9am. We'll start the cruise and head up the mountain on Highway 18 around 9:30am.
Our final destination will be a bar-b-q dinner at Logonita Lodge in Big Bear.
183 Lagunita Lane
Big Bear Lake, CA 92315
Once we arrive in Big Bear, feel free to explore the city at your leisure. In previous years we have gone on the Alpine Slide, or gone bowling, or just hung out at the lodge swimming or playing billiards. Dinner should be around 5pm but we will verify that soon. Dinner cost is $8 and includes unlimited hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, condiments, brownies, and lemonade.
Make sure to check your car over before the cruise, filling up with gasoline, water, and oil, as well as checking over your tires and suspension to make sure you're ready to go. Bring your walkie-talkies if you have them, so we can communicate during the cruise.
Plan on bringing a sweater or jacket as it will be cooler in October.
Please post below if you plan on coming, so we can let the lodge know to prepare extra food for us.

Of course you can come, anyone with any thirdgen f-body, or a non-fbody with a TPI engine can come. Our events are pretty much open and we welcome new people.
We have several requests to go bowling, how does that sound to everyone?
The event is this Saturday, so make sure to check your car over Friday night and get ready. You can meet us at Dyno Don's shop at 7:45am, or at Wildwood Park at 9am.

I'm going to be a bit late; my car is in desperate need of an alignment so I need to get that done before I head to big bear.

I think I saw you going up while we were going down. BBQ was at 1:30. I left around 3:00 ~ 3:30. I saw a black 3rd gen Camaro anyway going up around that time.

Yep, saw it to. I was wondering who's Camaro that might have been. It was probably closer to 4:00.
