SC3G August Meet, Cruise, & Bonfire Sunday August 5th, 2012 @ 2PM
Our August meeting will be held at:
Ruby’s Diner
245 North Harbor Drive
Redondo Beach, CA 90277
(310) 376-7829
Ruby's Diner
Map
We have reserved the patio as well as a portion of the parking lot. We will receive 2 hours of free parking with a Ruby’s Diner validation. After the 2 hours is up, it is $2 for each additional hour. It shouldn’t be a problem as we will be departing for the sunset cruise and bonfire well before our time is up.
Our meeting will be held outside on the patio portion of the diner so we can enjoy the ocean breeze and our cars as a backdrop.
The cruise route will be through the switchbacks of Palos Verdes, down through San Pedro, over the Vincent Thomas Bridge, through Downtown Long Beach, Belmont Shore, Seal Beach, and end with a bonfire at Huntington Beach.
As always our meetings are open to all members from all areas and 3rd Gen owners so please feel free to pop in and say hello!
As always if you have any additional questions or if there is any additional information I might be able to provide you with please don’t hesitate to ask.
See you there!

Yeah, I know! When I visit an amercan car meet in norway it's usually at best 2-3 thirdgens there. So it would have been fun to see a large gathering of thirdgen's some time.
Camaromike222: You should come visit some day! You may send me pm if you need some info about places, etc some day.

Ladies & Gentlemen we are a week out as of today! Our August Meets tend to have some of the best turnouts of the year. Looking forward to seeing a ton of 3rd gens take over the beach

Just a couple of last minute reminders before our event today:
1, If you will be joining us for the cruise, please have your FRS radios tuned to channel 3 so you can listen in as follow the caravan. I will be announcing our location periodically once we are underway in an effort to let people know where we are in case someone get held up at a light or caught behind some slower traffic.
2, This is a cruise, not a competition! Anyone found attempting to test the limitations of their vehicle or participate in a speed contest in close proximity to the other participants of this event will be stopped and asked to turn around or will have their vehicle photographed and immediately emailed to the CHP. Don't trip, we have plenty of other events where you can test the limits of your car and ability. This is not one of them...
3, It should go without saying, but I will say it anyway. NO consumption of alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, fights, loud music, burnouts, weapons, and/or vending of any kind.
Its going to be a gorgeous day out there so lets make it a good one
Any questions, now is the time.
