Radiator Leak

My Turbo Trans Am's radiator has sprung a leak. Does anyone know a good repair shop and/or replacement source locally? I'm considering upgrading as long as work needs to be done. Thanks for your help.

Re: Radiator Leak

Not sure if this is exactly what you were asking, but my radiator sprung a leak about four years ago. I ordered one from auto zone for about $100 and installed it myself, it takes maybe fifteen minutes to install. It's worked perfectly fine ever since.

Re: Radiator Leak

I bought this radiator a couple of years ago. It's a drop in replacement. It's an aluminum 3 row core radiator. I got mine from someone selling them out his garage in Orange. I can't remember his address but this one is in Garden Grove so you can probably pick it up and save shipping cost.

I too have this radiator, the company is called Champion Radiators out of Orange but they also have a warehouse in Lake Elsinore (where i went). They have various vendors all over ebay, but you can order from them directly. They also stand by there product should you have any problems, I had a leaking radiator after a year and a half and they replaced free with no charge and I haven't had a problem since. Bad one out of the barrel I guess. Its a drop in and is ALOT bigger than the stock radiator, also is full aluminum with no crappy plastic end tanks. I did street and hill driving the other day in 100+ degree weather and didn't even need to kick on the fans.
