Hello I'm visiting from San Antonio would like to get the scoop with any car meets that happen during the week or even Sunday night. I won't be here for the weekEnd which is prime time for car meets. Please reply for any info, if a possible maybe even would like to go for a ride in a third gen near the beach, haha thanks!

Sorry man, this place is dead for any Fbody guys. Ive been trying for the past year to get something going or find a member with a cool car. I do drive a 4th gen, but still I love 3rd gens so much more.

As for roads along the beach, San Diego has none. Maybe down south through National City, but no one wants to go down there. But a cruise on multiple freeways is nice from time to time.

Thanks for the reply, I've been just sight seeing and have only seen two third gens so far. Went to Hollywood and saw a decent fresh paint black 88, also a typhoon and a grand national. I will keep my eyes peeled thanks for the reply again,

We sometimes hold an annual cruise down to one of the San Diego casinos from LA/OC counties. You guys could cruise up to meet us when we hold the next one.

Yeah,
SD seems a little dead car wise.
If you want a nice drive, hop on North Torrey Pines Rd and head north. You'll end up through Del Mar and can go north up to Ocean Side. The road changes names, but it's the one that goes along the coast.

We’re in the planning stages of an SC3G San Diego Meet & Super Cruise (Palomar Mountain Road) for either June or August of this year. So not to worry, we’ll be bringing plenty of 3rd gen action your way

In the meantime you guys are more than welcome to get a group of 3rd gens together and cruise up to our April Meet in the City of Industry on the 7th.

This is coming up for us in San Diego at the Del Mar Race track next weekend. I heard it on the radio. I never miss a Gun Show or Snowboard Show at the race track! They have some great shows there. If there are no Firebirds, we can all roll up and have our own party.

And yea, its unfortunate that down here 3rd gens are very rare to see. The only place I really see them is in the boneyards

Del mar area is a nice drive forget the road name think its Torrey pines or something like that
