heres some info about the bike from there site:

The Trailz is getting more people back on a bicycle. It's easy to use, a sheer pleasure to ride and an amazing value to boot. Powered by Currie's Electro-Drive® system, the rider gets to choose from power on demand or power assist functions.

The Trailz is the perfect bike for many uses from recreation to transportation. Its powerful Currie Electro-Drive® system has 450 watts of power that provides plenty of torque to level hills and is powered by a sealed lead acid (SLA) battery pack that can easily be removed for charging or swapping. It can travel 15-22 miles with normal pedaling or about 10-15 miles with no pedaling at all at speeds of 15+ mph. You can easily double that range by adding an optional second battery pack

PAS/TAG ( Twist and Go or Pedal Assist ) Electric Facts
Allows users to select between two modes.
1. PAS Mode: Pedaling w/o throttle gives 50% of available power assist, conserving the battery. Pedaling while Activating Throttle allows user to go from 50% to full power or anywhere in between.
2. TAG Mode:: No pedaling required, just throttle from 0% to 100% power

Mode

TAG/PAS System
The Advantage: Rider can select between two power modes.
The Benefit: TAG allows you to power the bike
without pedaling at all. PAS mode without throttle stretches range and economizes battery usage.

Electro-Drive ®

Patented Currie Electro- Drive ® 450 Watt Motor System.
The Advantage: Powerful gear reduction motor system with chain drive power to the rear wheel.
The Benefit: Provides the power you need to climb hills or cut through wind. Rear wheel drive pushes the bike forward without altering its handling characteristics.

Battery

24V/ 10Ah Rack Mounted SLA Rechargeable Battery Pack.
The Advantage: Rider can easily move remove battery and add a second pack for extended range.
The Benefit: Easy to detach from bike when locking outside or transporting (to reduce weight). Carry inside to recharge.
