How long ago did you get your car painted? I know their is a period to let the paint cure, but I don't know how long.

As for me. I will probably go on the cruise and show up Monday at the track.

I'll be out there after flying back from Vegas. I'm hoping the weather will be nice because the heat will only make hangover worse. Hoping for 11's @ 116-118 mph.

Unfortunately I won't be running my car this year due to the weak/injured 10bolt that I have lol but I should break in my clutch by then maybe a quick hwy run, I'll be there with z28fast1 few 4th gens other gm's and one 383 tpi "smog legal" Iroc who' is planning to run his car after 6 years of being down Lol

I think I saw vincent run a 12.4??? That was the fastest time I saw from a third gen. But I was in the staging lanes a lot waiting around.

Best I could muster was a 12.79@112MPH 2.0 60ft. But my bests are a 1.91 60ft, and 115MPH. I missed 3rd on the good 60ft run, and spun like crazy on the 115mph run lol. It was a lot of fun though!!!

Post up what you guys ran!

Bill, my best times were with the motor around 1100 rpms then mash the accelerator. Also try to rotate your driveshaft 180 degrees and see if that helps with the vibration.

I'm getting on it this wekend....coming back from the dyno 5/21, front left upper brake caliper guide pin bolt backed-out and departed, made for a hair-greying 3 hour ride in bumper to bumper traffic (fixed before Invasion); after the buzz-bomb vibration at the track (occurred about 100 mph), rear axle (I think) is making lots of racket (maybe bearings or diff issue); I will inspect the rear axle assembly and get it squared away...could be a clue to the vibe in the axle.
During the two instances noted above, I was thinking, "Wow, what a POS!!" But, after it got me home (~100 miles both times) I re-thought, a POS would have left me stranded...
