Re: jongbloed hood?

If I were to get a hood for my car, that is the one I would get. Here are some better pictures from this thread.

Re: jongbloed hood?

Why would you want one on a TPI. I could see using it on a carb or TBI.

Re: jongbloed hood?

I pronounce it yongblod

I agree with Tom it really benifits a carbed or TBI equipped car. My 'vert loves the hood. BTW, that picture of it in greay primer on Andy Hehle's car is the one I now have on my car. Too bad my car is white, it doesn't show the design of the hood as well as the darker colors.

Re: jongbloed hood?

I bought it from Andy Hehle. He parted out his car. I bought the hood from him many years ago. The Jongbloed hood is long discontinued. The new ones are a reproduction made from a mold of an old Jongbloed hood.

Re: jongbloed hood?

I don't have plans to sell it. Also to be honest I have far more invested in it in the original purchase price and what I paid for prep and paint to make it affordable. It took the body shop a lot of work to correct the flaws (cracks and delamination) to make it ready for paint.
