I'm looking to build a CAI which may end up being a warm air intake. Any place local that sells aluminum mandrel bent pipe I'm Looking for 3inch. if not I'll buy it off ebay

 

Yea, you can go to Burns Stainless down in Costa Mesa. Just bring your loan application and jar of Vaseline. I think there is one other local place I found, with comparable pricing to Burns.

I ordered one from treadstone performance. They sell on ebay, but I ordered it directly from them. No issues with the part, or shipment of it. Worlds less expensive than locally.

Dyno Don fab'd a Firebird cai when he converted my Camaro to TPI. If this is what you are looking for I strongly recommend Don.

Check "Don's Latest Masterpiece" for other photos. I just looked at the two photos above. That dirty windshield washer fluid reservoir stands out like a sore thumb, doesn't it? I went to the dealer to get a replacement and, almost needless to say, it has been disco'd.

Don had to convert my Camaro (since I had a hood for a carb, not TPI, among many other mistakes that I made) to a Firebird style of intake when he converted it from a carb'd 305 with an automatic to a TPI 350 with a T5. The battery had to be swapped to the driver's side, etc., etc. I don't want to answer for Don, but the cost is going to depend on a variety of factors. That intake is a custom piece (along with other custom parts).

thats why im asking.... maybe if don send me what he needs in measurements we'd have a better situation
