The best racing in the world is a bunch of friends jumping on minibikes in a vacant field....yep... I love a challange, even if its tricycles.
Straight line is boring. I just like driving the Vette around town next to young kids in new cars that think they have something and I light the tires up next to them rolling 60mph to educate them...thats whats fun.

yea, racing is racing no matter what or where its at. The point is to have fun. Autocross was fun for a while but paying $30-$40 for 3 runs, waiting at times all day to make those runs , and dealing with all the rich premadonnas out there that look down their nose at you because you dont drive the latest and greatest sports car each year just flat got old.
My camaro was competitive with them and bested them more than a few times really pissing them off, but it just wasnt fun for me anymore.
Then when I relocated out here, the people were nicer but the autocross sites sucked. So I went back to my roots changing the car for drag racing . At least during the racing season, I can race every weekend for $15, make as many runs as I want and not have to worry about working the course.
What you guys have now in that time attack track is what was needed for many many years. I hope that place does well and stays open. Its like a drag strip with corners!
As for your vette, its nice.
