Re: LONG BEACH 3RD GEN MEET AT FRISCOS
I am gonna be there early
Also I wanted to bring this to attention that we will be discussing at the Friscos meeting what some of us were talking about back in the Van Nuys meeting while at HomeTown Buffet
This includes some of the following
1. Long Beach Group Picture (not sure if still want to be done at the LB lighthouse)
2. Future group meetings spots
3. Cruises
4. Irwindale Drag/Adams MotorSport Day
If u have something you would like to incorparate to the discussion feel free to do so... I know there are a few things I am missing but can't get them to the top of my head just yet....
Hopefully I will see everyone there
Valentin.

Yep, I'll be there. BTW, would appreciate if anyone shooting photos or videos making sure I get a copy, as I'd like to produce a compiled video presentation for digital distribution.

I'll be there, but not in my Camaro. I'm having the rear wheels widened so it's down for a couple of weeks.

Re: LONG BEACH 3RD GEN MEET AT FRISCOS
I'm gonna try and make it, but you will have to put up with a "adult" 3rd gen.
She's been in the garage for a few weeks and is PO'd for not being on any outings lately but I'll do what I can to keep her under control.
Although she did chase some crotch rockets thru the canyon about 3 weeks ago. She got mad when they used the shoulder to pass a car and get away.

Will be there with camera in hand. One of my favorite haunts.
The carhops are willing to pose for pics with the cars. Great choice!

Re: LONG BEACH 3RD GEN MEET AT FRISCOS
I was looking foward to going out there tonight, however I caught a cold on Tuesday and I am still not over it. It probably is not a good idea to go out there and stand outside in Long Beach weather shaking hands with everyone ( I will get you all sick). Please take and post lots of pictures guys, I will make it to the next one.

Re: LONG BEACH 3RD GEN MEET AT FRISCOS
To Carlos,
it sucks that you got sick and i hope u get well, as for the event it was funny, exciting, and surprising. hopefully our next Long Beach meeting would be as fun as this one..
i wanted to say Thanks to everyone that came and hopefully had a great time at Frisco's... i know i was in a bit in a shock to hear some of the things that were plan to me especially one part in particular (one year) that is all i have to say.... it was gonna be one funny joke but thanks to someone for saving me on that part... i was surprise to hear someone saying it was birthday that day even though it wasn't until the end of August but i found out that was the cover up to save me...
Anyways i appreciate it for giving me a nice laugh.... i guess i would of preferred saying it was birthday to the other suggestion...
i kinda felt bad that our table at Friscos was given to someone else even though we reserve it in advance... kinda felt bad that one side of the table were packed in together (from my point of view).... but overall the food and music was nice
On the parking it looked like we had more space outside then we had inside but it was cool we were able to work things out... need i to say more on the model that was taking pictures with our cars (wow)
Also to Fidel i forgot to take a pic of your car and your engine bay bro... that is one sick a** ride you got, and let me know how things work out with your car.... hopefully you can come to our next meeting bro..
Valentin.
Also to our Long Beach group member if you guys have a suggestion for our next meeting let me know and i will see when it would be a good time to have it since i know some of our member's cars are down for a bit... i want to see if we can choose a day that works with everyone

Valentin, The table situation worked out fine. We all at the other end were having a great time had enough room to eat- it all worked great.
Thanks for the invite and the effort putting that together. Frisco's is a fun place.
Dean
ps- My brother Derek was there with me-He has a collection of IROC memorabilia from the early I.R.O.C. (International Race Of Champions) series that he is going to dig up and we will hopefully take to the next meeting for show and tell.
pss- ...and guys, need I say it is appropriate to leave the gal more than a 25 cent tip...LOL..Your lucky she didn't throw it at you.

Oh gawd, I forgot about them doing that belly dance and the Yeddish clog thing. Mike kept thrown elbows as he was working the floor the one gal behind him had to hold the other gal from being knocked over.

Hey, how about posting some of the pics with the mini-skirt waitress ... especially the one of me, her great legs and my ragtop! If they're too huge, send them to me and I'll resize them for the website. PM me for my email address. Thanks!

Don’t worry about the table situation, it was you’re groups first organized event/meet and we were there to help you and as a result everything got sorted out. We all had a great time! The key is to create an agenda /itinerary and stick to it. We’re here to help you and any other clubs and/or organizations maximize the turnout and to create events that are memorable.
Oh and I didn’t mean anything by inviting the Long Beach guys out to have drinks with us old guys… I honestly didn’t realize that you guys were so young. Enjoy your youth guys because when it goes it’s gone forever…
Hey, we’re out there at least once a month. We’d love to have you guys come out and play with us.
I really wish you wouldn’t post images like that Tom. I’m not sure the TGO viewership can handle all that sexy. You know she had the biggest smile when she was hugging you

I feel everytime I drive it to the 3rd gen events I am hijacking the venue. I really need to get another 3rd gen. Thank you for the compliment though- I do not know if we have met in person, I did not know you were there since I did not see your car- Did we meet and talk or maybe you bailed before we all came outside- So many faces I can't always keep up with everyones names and putting faces with TGO callnames.
