Re: camaro group in los al/long beach area

Sounds like a nice idea. I'm in the LB area and work out at a gym in Los Altos several times a week. It's nice to meet with other ThirdGen enthusiasts, but it seems most gatherings are usually 30 miles away.

Re: camaro group in los al/long beach area

If you do plan to meet up somewhere... I will go but not in my camaro
I was able to do my T5 swap thanks to some help, but I did the hydralic system wrong I drill the holes to low and plus I need the torque arm mount that connects to the tranny... I will be out for a while until that part comes..
Let me know where u meet up
Also we had a meeting in BigBoys in Signal Hill back in April... went very well

Re: camaro group in los al/long beach area

I am cool with it especially that it is nite time...
But make sure to get approval to meet up there so there won't be any problems

Hopefully my camaro will be able to make it, it is gonna be hard to push my car side to side cuz of the street sweeper..

Also Alex sounds cool, I mite need to talk to you to paint my lower ground effect and rear bumper lol

I would say to talk with the ppl at the place you want to meet up, if it is Starbucks or Big Boys.. depends on you

I think the management from Big Boys won't mite for a group to meet up there that way we can go out to eat afterwardw there....

Re: camaro group in los al/long beach area

I might be able to go on friday depends on how it turns out that day but most likely i should be free to pass by @ 7pm. Also we should start a local camaro club to hang out. me and my friend "saritasan"(valentin) have been looking for camaro owners to start one and begin a new chapter for the SC3G club. We should all definately talk about it friday night at the meeting to see who is interested so we can all meet up and go to the Big SC3G Van Nuys meeting together and represent the Long Beach/Los Angeles and all in between. Let me know what ya think....

Re: camaro group in los al/long beach area

anybody got a spare emblem they can sell to me. or be nice and give me one? lol the one im talkin about is on the front bumper.. which is booboo cause it makes my car look uglie that its not there.. like some one either attempt to steal it and failed.. cause the clear part is missing and the stuff inside just cracks apart.. or when i washed the car.. it just happens to pop off (which seems unlikely).. it makes me sad to see that ):

Give Classic Industries a call. They have a wide assortment of emblems for our cars and I know for a fact they carry the front Camaro emblem. They are also in Huntington Beach, so you can have it the same day.

Looking forward to later today guys!

Nice gathering tonight at Bob's Big Boy, I'd guess around a dozen. Nice cars too, especially the '91 Z28 Carlos roared in with. Lots of attention to details and high quality work. Here's some photos, I hope we can make this a regular event for us Long Beach people.

Good to see everyone and more importantly seeing local meets starting to develop. Keep in mind you are free to utilize the Los Angeles County Forum on the SC3G Message Boardfor open discussions and to set up future meets.

Great pics Ed thanks for posting them

Re: camaro group in los al/long beach area

Yup...
We can have another meeting after the Van Nuys meeting that way we can prompt the local meeting even more and see where we can meet up local... I will be looking for spots to meet up and see if that would be cool for future meeting spots..
I am gonna try to see if I can get my Z running again, I felt kinda werid bringing a truck to a thirdgen meet, but it was cool

Also Tony my dad is gonna try to help me get my camaro running tomorrow, he still wants to be the first to drive it eventhough i told it around the block already..
