FS: SBC L98 Aluminum heads
These heads are from an 87 vette, they are casting number 14101128. They probably have about 100K miles on them. The problem they have is that several bolt holes (some exhaust and center intake manifold) are stripped and will either need to be chased with a tap and die set or have an insert put in. Local machine shop quoted me $10 per hole but I think you can do it yourself for much cheaper.
Burnt look comes from exhaust manifold leak due to some cheap headers which, from what I was told, caused the stripped bolt holes. (Couldn't have been the guy installing them right?)
Let me know of any questions. $250
Thanks for looking.
