The meet is scheduled for 2 o’clock so we will start lining up cars around 1:30. This meet is dedicated to all of our Los Angeles County 3rd gen owners. So if you’re in LA this means you!

Come and check out what you’re fellow 3rd generation F Body enthusiasts are doing with big brake & suspension setups, wheel & tire upgrades, paint & body, engine & transmission swaps, custom sound systems & interiors, the list goes on… So if you own or know someone with a 3rd gen, Bob’s Big Boy in Signal Hill is going to be the place to be on April 25th @ 2PM.

If your car is primered and rolling on stocks BRING IT, if you car has a sick paint job and wheels BRING IT, if your car is all show and no go or all go and no show BRING IT! Everyone is welcome!

This event is being coordinated by the Southern California 3rd Generation F Body Club (SC3G). A group of automotive enthusiasts dedicated to the preservation, restoration, and performance enhancement of the Third Generation F Body platform (1982-1992 Chevrolet Camaro & Pontiac Firebird)

If you would like to help get the word out with a little grass roots advertising. I have attached a high res print ready pdf that you can print out. Based on the feedback we have received through current print/web advertisements we have running promoting this event. Turnout is expected to be extraordinary.

I'm heading out to Pomona Swap meet that morning. I will be back home by about 1-2pm. I'll try my best to scoot out there. I wish it were later, I would just bring Marlee and drop her off at work after since she starts work that night at 7pm in Long beach- she only works about 5 blocks away from there.

i will try to be there early to the meeting around 1pm since it is not that far from where i lived.
I had a little trouble with my camaro so hopefully i can have it fix by friday. and give it is cleaning and wax by saturday and be ready sunday.

Love to have you if you can make it. There are going to be a lot of cars that we haven't seen before so it should be interesting.

I've been getting a lot of emails from guys with 1st, 2rd, 4th, and 5th gens that have been asking if they can come. I've been telling everyone that this is third gen meet and that they are welcome to come and check out the third generation F body's. So there's no telling how many different generations will be showing up. So I just might need your help sectioning the lot by generation.

I have received a number of inquiries from 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th gen owners/clubs asking if this is a 3rd gen only meet/show. I’ve been telling everyone that all F Body’s owners are welcome to come and check out the 3rd gens. So there’s no telling how many F Body’s will be taking part in tomorrow’s event.

I have no way of knowing how many times the info on this meet/show has been reposted on different F Body sites. We had originally planned on this being a 3rd gen exclusive show/meet however based on overwhelming response by F Body owners this can quickly rapidly turn into an all F Body meet/show. However the main focus of this event is going to still be the 3rd generation F Body. We will do our absolute best to accommodate everyone however 3rd gens will get preferred placement in the meet/show area.

The owner of the restaurant has asked me to pass this request along to all attendees. No burnouts, speed contests, alcohol, weapons, etc. etc. etc… We’ve never had a problem with anything even close to this in the past and I don’t expect that we will for this meet/show or any other events in the future.

Nah Im just keeping tabs on the So-Cal scene. I wish I was , So-Cal is where my roots are at. I dont miss all the politcal BS and the smog ****'s out there though. I will stand by this though, we got some serious roads and highways for cruising out here at this time of year when all the trees get their leaves back during spring time. Its freaking beautiful out here at this time of the year and the racing is good also. We just have to deal with severe weather (tornadoes) when it rolls in. You never know when one of those bad boys is going to drop down out of a cloud. We did have a small F-0 one today not far from where I live.

WOW! I used to work in Sun City and believe me when I say that I am painfully aware of how far you are traveling to attend this meet/show. I really appreciate you and everyone else taking the time to be a part of this event.

The meet was a success.
At one point I counted 29 cars and 5 or 6 showed up later and then another handful arrived.
The food was better than I remember Bob's food and the service was excellent.
A great bunch of cars and people were in attendance.

Thanks to all of the third gen owners that took the time to take part in our Los Angeles meet/show. A special thanks to the Cali Generalz & Redline Addicts members that came out and kicked it with us.

Phenomenal turnout! The purpose of this meet/show was to introduce 3rd gen owners to our club (SC3G) and to offer them an opportunity to meet other 3rd gen enthusiasts in their community. With that said, this meet/show was a complete success.

Had some great conversations with several 3rd gen owners that had never heard of our 3rd gen organization before, passed out a ton of business cards, and got to check out some choice rides.

Stay tuned for our next event ‘F Body Homecoming’ which will be taking place in June (details coming soon)

ps-For show and tell I described at our table the look of Tom Foster's old driveshaft via use of a flex straw for a model- it was a good education seminar.
