Yeah I have to agree with Grey Goose. Just make your list on what you want done on your car and surely little by little it will be coming true. It will take time but in the end it will be worth it.
I remember when my camaro was in the same condition when I got it. I can still remember when I use to get out through the driver side window in order to get in and out especially during school days. Now those days are over, and my car over time has become my dream car (well almost done)
Give it some time and patients and it will be one great in the future

I agree. There is nothing unfixable.

I came from the import world and realized how much money I've been wasting on those expensive parts so this car will be alot easier to put together for me

Im not worried about the looks of the car yet so ill have to pass. (unless your willing to donate )

Depednding on what you want to do with it, it might be cheaper to buy a thirdgen that's in better condition. Unless its some kind of restoration/building experience, it seems like a lot of work and money.

Either way, good luck with it.

The only real problems are in the body and minor electrical modifications done by the previous owner.

It LOOKS like alot of work because of cracked skirts, mismatched wheels and rattle can paint job. Beyond this is a perfectly good camaro project.

I thought about buying another camaro and using this one for parts, but then I thought of the stuff this camaro needs and its everything I would want to replace/upgrade anyway.

Man that is a clean teal... Is that the original paint? If so i'd have to assume your the original owner because that car has been well maintained

Re: Attention all So Cal 3rd Gen Owners! Official Pic Post & Intro Thread

Actually,we are the second owners of this car.I bought this car in 1999,the car had 120,000 on it when we got it.It has been painted since I got it.Its got 168,000 on now.Ive put about 1,000 in maintenance, other than that its the original 305,5 speed without a rebuild.interior is all original and still looks great ,seriously, the interior looks as good as the outside..I get people wanting to buy it all the time.Ive always wanted a 91-92 camaro.I want to put a 91-92 z28 hood on it.I love this 3rd Gen -,its my favorite body style, second to the 67-69 of course.
