Re: 3rd annual Spectrum meet in Irvine is back

Here is the address we will be meeting at before the meet Sunday.

10 Mason,
Irvine, CA 92618

Map

It’s really easy to get to… 5 South exit Bake Parkway, make a left on Bake Parkway, up to Rockfield and make a left up to Thomas and make a right, up to Mason and make a left, and it’s the 4th warehouse on the left. I will have my car parked in the first driveway.

I will be there at 10:30am and we should plan on leaving no later than 11:30 as this is rumored to be a huge show and we want to make sure and secure a section for us.

Any other groups that are heading down please feel free to join us at the staging location before we caravan to the spectrum. The more the merrier!

If you guys have any questions or if there is any additional information I might be able to provide please feel free to call/text me 714-713-0768

Third Gens of the world unite!

Confirmed to stage & cruise to meet:

Hey GreyGoose,

I looked at the map and got damm its freaking far from our location not think about the traffic on the 5 and the 405 man too bad is too far away from me. I try to convice a few people but they all told me it was too far. I guess I'll be attending the Johnny Rocket's grand opening here in camarillo.

Yeah it’s a bit of a haul… The traffic wouldn’t be too bad given the time you would have to leave. Now heading back would probably be a different story. Once a year we head up to the Solvag area for a BBQ that one of our members puts on for us. We meet up early for breakfast and then we take that long drive arriving for lunch. Eat, hang out for a few hours, and make the long drive home. It is an all day deal and it takes a lot of planning. I totally understand where youre coming from. Maybe later this year when he head back up there, you guys can join us.

Well damn. They couldn't get my car ready in time for tomorrow. I'll be going solo tomorrow in the nissan to check it out tho but not at high noon.

Who'd have thought a little electrical problem could take over a month to fix. -_-

The people that set this up need to remind attendees that yes their car is fast and they don't need to impress others with burnouts.
BURNOUTS WILL GET US BANNED FASTER THAN ANYTHING.
No one in our 3rd gen group was guilty.
Great meet, probably 100 cars there.

Damm that sucks I hate when people do sh-it like that. People try to organize events and some jack as.s comes by and does a burnout, LAME. That's the reason we get banned from places.

Wich I could of make it. ;(

Re: 3rd annual Spectrum meet in Irvine is back

It was nice to see a good number of third gens there. Me and this red vert were the first ones there. I was the one with the all black Camaro. It was a nice turn out over all. A LOT of LS powered cars and Muatangs. I think the Mercedes guys were intimidated by all the muscle.

It was good seeing you guys there.

Ah... Actually there was a certian Silver Fox that must have accidentally side stepped the clutch and abused the pavement right along with the Mustangs as he was leaving. Someone needs to spank his little bottom!

Thank you for the compliment and I'm going to do what I can to get some serious 3rd Gen representation together for next year.

Special thanks to everyone that came out to the warehouse to stage before the event. It was good to see all of you some of which I hadn't seen in a number of years. Sorry for exploding onto Rockfield in a 4 wheel drift but I had the Godfather (Vetruck) behind me and he gets all warm and fuzzy when daddy hangs the *** out like that. Thanks again everyone!

Just a reminder, our February meeting is this Saturday February 6th 2010. This is usually one of the largest meetings of the year so let us know of you are planning on joining us and to all of you new guys out there. Please know that you are more than welcome to join us. Here is the link with all the info:

SC3G February Meeting Info

See you there!

Re: 3rd annual Spectrum meet in Irvine is back

Had a great time yesterday. The third gen turn out was good. I hadn't been around for a few years, but took the Camaro out of moth *****. I hope I'm one of those that Mike eluded to, that he hadn't seen in a number years, that was good to see again. I would have liked to hung out more, but my kids (and grandkids) showed up. I toured the lot with my eight year old grandson, then lunch at The Yardhouse, blah, blah, blah. Anyway, nice to see old faces again, and a lot of new ones. See you Saturday at the meeting.

Re: 3rd annual Spectrum meet in Irvine is back

Good turn out, I saw some nice rides and got some good runs on the way back. Those 4th gens aren't so beastly when you got an LS1 too!!

I was a little embarrassed for 3rd gens when some of them were trying to burn out by reving it in neutral then dropping it into drive lol.
