Re: camaro third gen clubs?

The main club website is http://www.sc3g.org/ but most of the traffic is here so most people post here.

Our next club event is at a dyno day in Westminster on Sept 12th.

The next cruise is is up the mountain roads to Big Bear on Sept 19th.

The next meeting is Oct 3rd at Mimi's Cafe in City of Industry.

The days picked is up to the individual who is organizing the event. Events don't just happen, they need to be planned and organized. The Big Bear cruise coming up in Sept. Is organized to allow us to participate in the barbeque that is put on by the lodge every Saturday. When I set up a cruise, I do it on Saturdays because I'm busy on Sundays. The dyno days are done on Saturdays because all of the shops are closed on Sundays. If you want to organize something on a Sunday, and obviously can't attend a meeting because they are on Saturdays, post it up on this board and find out if there is interest. We try to keep upcoming events listed on the board, so don't post up an event for the same weekend that is already scheduled. If you can propose something at least 6 weeks to a month off in the future, it gives people a chance to mark it up on their calendars to keep the date free. This is an informal club. We get together to do stuff with our cars when we can. We usually get more people attending the meetings than attending any of the activities because every one has conflicts in their schedule. If you post an idea and no one responds, it isn't personal, people just may not be able to make the date you post, or they may not be interested in participating in a particular event. Most of us don't have show cars, they are all drivers, so we don't do a lot of car shows or cruise nights. It is best if you can plan something far enough ahead of time to post 2 or 3 possible dates and see if there is interest. In short, we don't have an "Activities Chairman." Everything we do is DIY by someone who comes up with an idea and runs with it to see if there is interest. A case in point is the day of racing that Kevin is attempting to organize. He has been working for months to try to get something set up to rent a track for a day so that those who are interested in drag racing can sign up and run knowing that we won't need to deal with waiting for a bunch of 20 second Honda's make runs and plug up the strip.

We have met up with a lot of new guys at some of our events. From Corona, your best bet would be to meet up at the parking lot in the park off Waterman at the bottom of the 118. We should have a schedule posted in the thread on the big bear cruise.

You'll find the info you're looking for in the thread about the event:

https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/sout...-2-sequel.html

There might be an '89 Corvette coming, but otherwise its all thirdgens.

Sunday is family day for most people. Its also NASCAR and Football day.
Sorry that doesnt work out for you, but we have to plan events so the majority of the people can and will attend.

I work Saturdays, too, so I have to either be late or take a day off work to attend events on Saturdays. Nothing personal, it's just how it works out...

No we plan it on Saturday on PURPOSE so you'll have the incentive to get a better job that has weekends free.

First, please dont type in all caps, its rude.

Second, how much money do you have? Give it all to Dyno Don and he'll build you an engine as fast as you can afford.
