Don & Kevin are the only ones that I know of locally who burn custom chips for our cars. Your info talks of a Lt1 swap. If you swap in a 96 or newer, they don't do those since 1996 is OBDII, but I think they do chips up to 1995. Send Don a p.m.

No, not for the LT1, yet (It's off a 1995 Impala SS). I need to get my the Camaro out of my garage very quickly, and VATS is not letting me turn my car on. So If they could be very kind as to remove that system from my computer I would greatly appreciate it. I already PM'd Dyno Don, I live in Torrance by the way. I can either go to them or they can come to me. Whichever

I'd love to help, but...

A) I dont have any more TBI chips to burn.

B) Even if you turn off VATS in the chip, there is still a separate circuit for the starter enable relay that is part of VATS.

Do a search here on TGO. IIRC, you can trick the VATS by using a resistor. There should be a tech. article on it or for sure someone on one of the other boards can tell you how to do it.

If you can push your car down to Rickie's and Ronnie's this Saturday we have the club meet and the guys can take a look see. I can bring a multi-meter and some tools. Maybe some one else can chip in.

Thanks guys, I have a chip coming in from michigan a fellow TGO member is sending. I have already bypassed the starter switch relay... thing is VATS is cutting fuel, IVE DONE ALL THE TESTS already, and yes it is VATS thats causing my car not to start. I think the whole VATS MODULE is shot.
