87 Camaro Iroc-z for sale
I thought I'd give you guys first dibs on this. It kills me to sell it, but I was given a newer car that gets much better mileage and it's more practical.
The engine and rear end were rebuilt/replaced by Don about 20k miles ago, been on mobil 1 since break in. Brakes have less than 8k. Never raced with the new engine but it's very fast, hangs with a 2000 z28 easily. New tires due to freeway nails, new fuel pump 200 miles ago. Before the fuel pump was replaced I got around 20 mpg 70% freeway driving (thanks to Kevins awesome programming, no doubt). Smogged through Feb 2008. Asking 3k firm. Much more than that is invested in parts.
The problems: The paint isn't great. Previous owner must have gotten a cheap paint job. It's glossy on the sides but the top is dull and there are two chipped spots/areas that I know of. One from an egg being thrown at the drivers side door. The radio was wired badly and has a drain, so it isn't plugged in. It does work. A new dashpad would be nice, but the interior is in good condition. No dents or anything, paint is really the only problem the car has and it's not even that bad.
Modifications
Serpentine conversion, all accessories functional (no more v-belts)
Custom programmed computer PROM for new engine (KEVIN )
Adjustable fuel pressure regulator
Siamesed SLP upper intake runners, ported upper intake
Edelbrock lower intake
CNC ported aluminum L98 'D' port heads
MSD distributor, new cap, rotor, ignition module
LT4 camshaft, chromemoly roller-tip rockers, hardened pushrods
Ceramic coated Edelbrock headers
Custom y-pipe (Don)
Borla stainless steel adjustable exhaust
Spohn weld-in subframe connectors
Generic strut tower brace
New fuel pump
1LE rear end with 3.42
Stock corvette torque converter
Will include stock radio and extra parts I have (v-belt accessories, stock runners, etc)
car is sold pending check clears

I just got a call that my family put it on a corner today and already got some offers on it. I am not about to give a total stranger such a hot deal on my car, but if I don't find someone else soon it's going to sell because we don't have any place to put it

I SEE. This is tempting and probably cheaper tahn what im planning to do. If i dont buy it you'll get from somehwere. Are you looking for a trade? I have a 96 deville trying ot get 6500 for. Let me know if you're up for trade as i dont have 3000 yet. Im about a grand short until i sell the cadillac.

Trade won't do me any good, as I don't have space for it. I fixed the post to include you Kevin, I actually had you in but I deleted that line before I posted and forgot to credit you again
