Well the good news is the car ran pretty good for 1st time off the trailor. I did NOT have to make any major adjustments to shocks or air pressures. The car was real stable, and well balanced. It "could" use ALOT more tire to help put the power down quicker. Will have to go 17"'s with 335 series rubber if I wish to continue autocrossing Thats some serious cash $$$$$.
Driving I SUCKED. I've been away to long(10 years) and my physical size is really hurting me behind the wheel. I've gained 100+ since the last time I drove competitively.
My Uber driver(Grant Byers) was a No show(family problems). Another friend (Steve Exstrand the son of Super Stock drag racer Tim Extrand) drove the car also in the same class. He jumped into the car without any practice in the car. He has never drivin a 3rd gen before. (He races a SRT neon!) He just missed a trophy by knocking over a cone near the finish line on his last run. I was to tired to make fun runs, so Steve made some and pulled down a 49.003 . Not bad for being undertired. The Dialed in C6 ZO6 vetts on race rubber were running mid 47. sec runs.
Somebody had a ENZO out there making runs at a EVO autocross school. AWESOME!
Well the next planned event will be a GRA event in May. I'll try to make that one with Grant in my quest to kill off my tires.
