Need to find a company to coat my headers

Well finally got the engine and tranny out. Need to find a place in San Diego or as far as L.A. that can coat my SLP headers that I removed off the engine.

Dyno Don(Orange) has a guy that does them. I had mine done in the spring and they look great. Before I had them done I was having a problem with some of my spark plug wires melting but haven't burned one since. Don's info is in the "SoCal Thirdgen Friendly Companies," sticky at the top of this forum. The cost for coating was fairly cheap too.

My headers was uncoated when I installed them over 2 years ago so they need to be claned up. Was your headers news when you had them done?

They weren't brand new, but they did only have about a 1000 miles on them. The coating company may just blast them to prep them for coating anyways. I think my friend talked to Don about bringing in an older set of headers and if I remember correctly it, the fact that they were well-used didn't raise the price. You'd have to talk to Don though for any definite answers.
