warning - (Don especially)

This is for those of you who have ever had problems with a battery draining, and not had time to fix it, so you installed a key to switch the battery off when you had the car sitting for a while.

I installed one of these switches a couple years ago that I bought from Kragen, and I know you picked up one as well Don.

Yesterday I was driving on the freeway and my car suddenly died without warning. I pulled over and tried to restart it, but I had no power. I traced it back to this switch. I had power to it, but not after the key even with either key installed. I removed it and installed my negative battery cable straight to the battery and I once again had power.

Unfortunately now my fuel pump won't cycle and I have no time at school to fix it myself, so it's probably going to cost me to get the car running again. Car starts with hexane but won't run as soon as it is gone.

Yeah the fuse is good I am going to check the relay and see if I have power back there as soon as I can, but I won't have time until this weekend.

I think I have the drainage issue, but I don't have a kill for the battery. I had a wring issue with the main power wires for the harness but I found that problem and fixed it. Looks like I still might have to track this issue down though
