zip zaps at radio shack

heh walking through the mall here with a couple of old freinds today....we wandered into radio shack and found these micro rc cars called zip zaps. Fully rc that turn right and left, forward and back. They make upgrade parts (ie motors with higher rpm, tires, sterring deals).

Hehe needless to say i bought the 2002 ws6 starter kit (remote, car etc), and the camaro body kit collection that comes with a 67 ss and a 02 heritage ss bodies and matching rims.

pretty neat little deal, my buds were mustang racers so they bought the mustang concept ones and i must say thier pretty fun to mess around with......

20 bucks well spent

I got one. I was surprised how bright the headlights actually were. Make sure the floor is clean. The axle will pick up hair, fur and lint and gum it up.

I have a knock-off brand I picked up off the internet, similar to what they sell at Fry's. Do the Zip Zaps hold a decent charge?

Mine runs for about 3 minutes then dies. And ditto on the clean floor only. These things are lint magnets and the axles get loaded up quick.
