Well, I would like to be added to the list. Anyone have any idea how I am going to get a 1/4 mile time in a convertible without running a roll bar? N/A I think I will be in the top three of 350's running. 425/425

Kevin, thanks for listing me among the top 10! Though I have to be honest and correct my ET from 13.2X to 13.345 @ 102. I will also post Rusty's fastest of 13.9X @ 100. Thanks again

What car is Rusty's ET in? His GTA? Is he going to rebuild it or is it a total loss?
The quickest you can run legally in a convertible without a rollbar is 14.00. After that, they will kick you out once you run faster. So you can get an ET if you want to run once and then go home.

Could I use a removable 4 point? Or would I have to put in a 6 point? What I hate most about roll bars is the bar going across the front seats. The picture shows a 6 point, but wasn't sure what hte minimum needed is.

I can't find my last time slip right now but it was at Famosa on et streets. I had my 3.08's still in and the stock tranny. I have yet to spray the nitrous on this motor.
I remember only getting a 2.00 60ft time and a 13.4 or something but a 114 or 115 mph. That run 2nd gear was really tough to get into, it took a double clutch and some stuffin. The next run I blew the tranny.
That's were I sit today.
Shouldn't be much longer before I can try out some of my other traction improvements.

Well, that sucks. Would you guys accept one of those little dash mounted 1/4 mile trackers? I know it will show me slower than it actually is, but hey if that's faster than most of you I am ok with it

No, a G-Tech time does not count. It must be at a 1/4 mile race track, and you must be a SoCal resident and member of the SC3G.
Chris, I'd love to put your dad's car on the list but its not a thirdgen. I put Mikey's time on there just to rub it in.

I haven't run mine in the 1/4 mile yet with the new engine and mods. I should be able to fit in between those times in autocross trim I ran 13.40@109 last time i made a pass with the old engine.

Well, I am in Socal. Not sure if I am a member or not. Ive always posted, and have asked a few times, but...
Well, I'll have to have gene drive my car the one time down the track. He will at least get a good run out of her.

How 'bout we break it down like the SCFB list and list the top 10 in each time zone - fastest 11.xx, 12.xx, 13.xx, 14.xx.

Bunch of haterz on this board. It doesn't really matter what that list says we all know who's the fastest. Whether it's Jerrywho tracking one of his go-fast combos or Mike in my car. I say #3 should read:
Mike and I work like a team and put in a team effort. He wasn't just going for a joy ride down the track for ****s and giggles. He is as much an asset in tuning my car as I am programming it.
BTW - my engine is a 350, not a 355.
3. Mike Perez - 1985 Z28 - 350 TPI - N/A - 12.635 @ 109 .84

I have 3 goals:
1) Pay down some debts
2) Buy a new truck for a daily driver
3) New engine for the GTA
Time frame on all this is TBD.

Hi Kevin
If you want to add my car to the list as I found one time ticket from Carlsbad. The run was 13.85 @ 102.04. The car is a 1989 Trans Am GTA with a 350 TPI and N/A.
With everyone running so good it does not look like I would move up much in the standings after Don gets done with my car. Allen
P.S. Looks like you can add Julie to the list.

Since many acheived new bests as well as getting their first 1/4 mile times, in the case of Julie and Sam, do we want to keep this updated?

Wait a second, does this mean team bunny has been put into retirement, or does this mean they will just have to put more effort ($) into climbing back on top?

I saw that one first hand, or being handed my *** more or less on that pass. Rusty ran that at California Speedway on the first weekend date they had in July. It was with a 100 shot.

This comming year should be very interesting for 3rd Gen fans. Quite a few potential 12 second cars will be hitting the streets. I can see Vincent getting 110+ and mid 12's with no problem in his present car. Good luck guys and I'am looking forward to an interesting year. Hehehe. Now if I(Don) can just figure out the knock sensor problem with my car life will be good. Allen Egbert

What's up all.
Well, I guess I have the slowest 350 here.
I have a white 90' IROC 350TPI with a 4" Cowl. I got her 6 months ago and the only thing I've done to her has been putting 8.5mm MSD super-conductors on regular engine maintenance. I'm trying to get her back in good running order. I have a leaky radiator, rear-main seal, and a rusted over intake manifold.
I ran a best 15.01 at LACR a couple months ago. Do I need to scan my slip to prove it? And that was before getting her up to speed. During that run I had a 1.01 reaction time, engine was at 210F and my battery was dying, so I think I can get better We'll see. Anyone here run at LACR?
