casuality on the 405
Anyone in the south bay area know about the man run over on Nov 26. He was in the south bound carpool lane of the 405 west of the 110.
It had just happened and people were on their cell phones. We were northbound so we just kept going.
Curious as nothing was on the news about it.

Thats my freeway beat. i work FSP (freeway service patrol). i patrol up and down the 405 between the 110 on the south end and imperial blvd on the north end. i was on duty that day and a beat partner was the one to tow the vehicle off to the right shoulder from the car pool lane. I never did get a straight story from either my beat partners or CHP. all i heard over the CHP radio was that a man had "fell" out of his vehicle. the why and the how, who knows. i didn't hear of anything such as him being ran over. i know he was taken away in an ambulance and said to be ok. after that i never heard anything about it. kinda weird huh. but i see it all on the beat.
if anyone else knows anything, let us know.

thats right by my house. I drive on it everyday cuz its on the way to skool. I remember a huge back up as i was turnin from the north bound 405 to the south 110. I dont know if that is the same thing though, cuz there is some major accident on that stretch of the 405 every other day.

When I went by northbound, the guy was lying in the carpool lane and someone on a cell phone was kneeling by him but not touching him. I think he had been run over as his shirt was above his waist and the lower torso was bright red. He was not moving.
one car was stopped about 150ft east of him all the rest of the southbound traffic was stopped right there.
Thanks for the replies.
