Need local energy suspension parts supplier.
I usually go to summit for most of my stuff, and in fact, I just placed a large order recently as I am swapping a fourth gen rear in the car and complete redoing the front suspension with new wheels and rubber. The problem is, I didnt order my torque arm bushing and noticed its shot and I need a new one. Summit and jegs want $12 for the bushing and another $8.xx for "packaging." I tried Autozone as they are now carrying some of the energy bushings, but that got me nowhere ("whats a torque arm?"), so now Im looking local. There used to be a race shop here in Glendale, near where I live, but it just closed down last month . Anyone know where else I can go to pick one up, relatively local to LA, or will I have to head to NAPA or Pep Boys and hope they know what Im talking about. Thanks, Efrain

There's a remote chance Hawaii Racing in Thousand Oaks could have one, but it's not too likely.

There is Speed Shop USA just over the Whittier/La Habra border in La Habra. He specialises in street rods, and pre1975 muscle cars. He can get energy suspension parts, he's a bit pricey, but probably less than Summit's price plus shipping. Two other speed shops that come to mind are "Orange County Racing" and Chet Herbert Cams, but both of those are in Orange County. The reason for the two week delay from PAW maybe that they don't have them in stock, and it will be two weeks before they can get delivery from Energy. Energy may be out of stock and expecting a fresh supply soon as well.

thats such a coincidence...
No, thats not my teal RS. The funny thing is though, my buds little bro just bought that little V6 a few months ago. (Wish I had his wheels!) But yeah, the speed shop was on Brand and its a shame their gone. 90firebird: my cars a red RS...currently undergoing a massive makeover and soon to be appearing near you with a 95Z28 rearend, complete (I mean that) suspension rebuild, steering linkage, wheels and rubber. Now all I have to do is get a paint job and jump into the engine compartment. Pics coming soon. -Efrain.
