Okay Gentlemen, as one of the directors of this club I need to step in. This is all going to end NOW.

Jason and David - I don't know either of you, but I am aware of some of your previous actions. Also, the carrying on that is taking place in this thread is not helping your cause.

However, I am willing to grant both of you a "probationary period" and see if your intentions to peacefully participate are indeed true. BUT this is not something I can decide alone. We have a 5 person Board of Directors for this club and we will need to discuss this via private e-mail and vote on it. Situations like this are one reason why we structured the leadership for this club as we did.

Whatever the decision is, I'd like to ask the two of you to please abide by it. That's all.

AGood2.8 - I understand your view on this, but I would appreciate it if you would refrain from making any further comments. Again, it's not helping the cause here and is just throwing gasoline on the fire. Plus, IIRC, you've had to re-register on this site a couple of times due to administrative action. We enjoy your participation in the club so let's end all the bickering.

With that, I'd like to request that this thread ends with this post. I'll be contacting the other leaders of the this club and we'll resolve this.

 

Like I said before, I have no intentions of being in this club. This is he Southern California Area forum and until it says SC3G Club Forum on it, am not required to leave, or go on probation, etc.

My previous actions? Thats interesting. As I said before, I made a comment a long long time ago to Tom K. And that was entirely it. So what are my other so called actions besides spending countless hours dedicated to the 3rd gen club scene? Sounds to me like you have been listening to the gosip that makes its way around.

There seems to be alot of misconception about this board, and where it came from. It didnt just 'appear', and we came here to use it, rather, we ASKED for it because a couple of us know Dirk pretty well, and he said ok. Simple as that. If you want to argue with me about it, you are more than welcome to... but thing is, I was there, and I know, I'm not guessing.

Kevin has allowed pretty much anyone, even those not in the SC3G club, to post here. I even remember the topic coming up of changing the name of this board to SC3G board, and having a 'regional' SoCal board, and there were plenty of us involved that thought it was a silly idea, so here it is, just like it was, a socal board for anyone in the area to post on. I'm only telling you guys this to clarify, because most of you are running off making assumptions about a subject I know that you dont know anything about at all, just by your responses.

As for the whole 'moderator' thing, and such... About all I can say is, gee.. thats too bad. Sorry that when I (or any other moderator) goes and clicks the ban button that you cant view any of the site, but thats just how it works. Maybe it could have been a simple "I dont want you to post here" from Kevin, but obviously that never would have worked, seeing as how you are still posting. But David, just in case you missed it, Kevin doesnt want you here. You have a problem with that? Going to Dirk or Brad isnt going to help you. This board is in fact really just residing here, but its the SC3G board. Kevin says you arent welcome, you arent welcome. I dont know how it could be any simpler. You say you have changed, post a pic of how well your club is doing like thats supposed to mend past problems or put yourself on a higher pedastal, but trying to force your way into the door of a place that doesnt want you isnt ever a good idea. You ask first. If they say no, whining is only going to make things worse, not better.

I know you ran off and did your own thing, but 'this' club didnt just get back on its feet and have word spread, and it wasnt any lag in time either. IIRC, it was less than a week, because I distinctly remember Tom K being a bit irate we didnt waste any time about it.

Those be the facts, jack. Now that we have everything right, lets form our opinions from there.

 

(Didnt waste any time getting back on its feet) thats a good thing... what I am reffering to is when there wasnt a site or message forum in place. I never had any problems with SC3G and still dont. In fact, most of this issue about letting David in the club isnt even what im talking about... only the right to post here seeing as he doesnt even have a 3rd gen at the moment. Ive met you Chris and you seem like a great guy, not looking for any enemies. You are right about not knowing everything that went on with the forums, and now that it has all been put into perspective, I see the whole picture.

Where things go from here are only up to Kevin and David. I have said what I wanted to say abd before people look for more dirt to dig up about anyone or anything, I will say good day and happy 3rd genning.

I don't think this thread needs any more commenting, but I agree it should probably be deleted or at least locked soon. It's gotten a bit out of hand. We all know that you can't see someones intentions through some text on the internet, and you can't take some weak internet threats seriously.

This isn't a public board, it's private. Whoever has power can do what they like. Look around, it looks to me like a club board.

Jason, I thought you and I had put our differences behind us, but I can see by your posts that you havent changed (and to be fair, neither have I, but I had forgotten about it). If you havent changed, what makes you think David did?
